| MEET MICHAEL TYLER
Michael Tyler is a strong citizen of Ouachita County, and bold conservative who has been involved in serving the community through politics, volunteer services, and as a small business owner.
As a committed member of the community, Michael Tyler has heavily invested himself and his family into improving areas where they can. Starting right at home, Michael Tyler adopted the road he and his family live on and have taken pride in working to keeping it clean. Additionally, the Tyler family all serve as volunteer firefighters at the Frenchport Volunteer Fire Department.
Continuing their desire to serve, Michael and his wife joined the Board of Directors for the fire department, water department, and Farm Bureau. They also helped restructure and reenergize the Ouachita County Republican Party and the local chapter of the Cattleman’s Association.
In 2023, Michael was elected to the Ouachita County Election Commission as a Republican election commissioner. He was also appointed by Governor Sanders in February of 2025 to serve as a Justice of the Peace for District 3.
Michael is an Army Veteran, serving 28 years with 7 deployments. He currently lives in Camden with his wife, Tammy.
